Liftmaster High Speed Slider LPK5Application
The Liftmaser LPK5 is built for intense usage conditions where speed of opening and reliability are a priority. Suitable for both cantilevered and bottom track type gates on industrial sites, apartments, secured estates, commercial and high rise building entries.

Construction
The worm reduction gearbox is mounted on 4mm thick hot dip galvanised mounting plate. Easy installation of the mounting plate is achieved with the provision of 4x13mmx30mm slots.

Motor & Gearbox
The 0.55kw, inverter driven motor is built to withstand the harshest conditions. The hollow shaft gear box enables slim-line construction of the gate motor, with a 36:2 ratio providing the torque required to operate gates up to 1 tonne.

Safety
A sensitive inbuilt adjustable clutch provides an excellent anti-crushing device, however, photo electrics and/or vechile detectors are recommended. Whilst the gate opens quickly, slow closing is provided to help prevent accidents. AN isolation switch is provided to shutdown the power during maintenance. For additional safety, when the motor is disengaged, an automatic override switch prevents the motor from running.

Speed
Up to 600mm per second is achievable with soft start, slow stop feature. Different speeds are available for both opening and closing directions. (Refer to Technical Data for details).

Disengagement
In power failure situations, by removing the secured cover, a lever is available for simple disconnection of the gear mechanism allowing the gate to be opened manually.

Limits
Limits are provided to signal the function of the speed control with a special tool provided for simple, accurate adjustments. A maximum travel of 10 metres is available. Two extra limits are available for accessories ie, traffic lights, ventilation systems, interlocking, etc.

LiftMaster 844Application
The FAAC 844 operator has been designed to provide the simplest, most cost effective solution for moving heavy gates on commercial and industrial sites (ie Chemical plants, fuel & transport depots and home units).

Economical Installation
The electronic equipment is conveniently housed under the motor cover to make installation easier and faster.

Secure Locking
As the motor and gear unit cannot be reversed the installation of electric locks is unnecessary. The release device is lockable and allows simple disconnection in the event of a power failure.

Controls
The Magic Button 6961K logic control board designed and made by Liftmaster in Australia features six different operating modes. From simple domestic operation through to high security functions. Outputs for safety devices, clock timers and all types of access control equipment are standard.

Maintenance
Constant lubrication of the mechanical components, which are all mounted in an oil bath and assembled in a single high-strength die-cast aluminium casting, ensures a very long service life.

The EURO 8Design
Small, compact and powerful, the EURO series fits neatly to one end of the gate entry with all controls conveniently fitted under the stylish cover which negates the need for ugly external control boxes. The thick aluminium base plate is slotted for installation convenience and supports the heavy duty motor and gearbox.

Choice
The EURO 5 and EURO 8 are available with a choice of 2 logic boards with a range of control functions.

Convenience
An accessible key release allows easy disconnection of the gate in power fail situations.

Safety
Both control boards are ready for photo electric beams that will reverse the motor to the open position if someone accidentally operates the Magic Button* whilst the gate is open or closing (Optional Part # FP01). Liftmasters' unique electronic clutch reduces the amount of power required to drive the gate and serves as an anti crush device.

Usage
Suitable for both demestic and light commercial installations. The unique Liftmaster electronic clutch gives extended duty cycle and prolonged motor life.
