High Flow Traffic Barriers Gates

As part of improvements to the reliability of the security & traffic flow management, CTI Logistics requested AGM Automation to advise them on a product that could handle their situation.

AGM Automation was requested to advise their best recommendations on which product could handle the high traffic flow the site was experiencing, whilst maintaining the sites level of security after hours.

After assessing the sites requirements and its environmental conditions, we recommended installing an Australian product distributed by Liftmaster Australia, the 906 Barrier Gate.

Specifically designed for high volume traffic solutions with its incorporated torque motor design, allows for 100% duty cycle operation. The combination of the motor and sinusoidal linkage system results in a very reliable and simple traffic barrier, with minimal maintenance.

The linkage system enables the motor to be locked in both the up and down positions, however, in the event of a power failure the boom will automatically open to a vertical position. Because the barrier is designed for high volume traffic situations, it is eminently suited to operating in lower volume applications with the advantage of already being capable of coping with growth in traffic volume.
