AGM Automation supplied and installed a new automated sliding gate at the Carnarvon Power Station for Horizon Power. The work formed part of a site security and access control upgrade at the facility. AGM completed the gate installation, automation, access control programming and commissioning before handing the system over to Horizon Power personnel.
The project involved the supply and installation of a new industrial sliding gate, approximately 9 metres in length, complete with automation, access control equipment, safety systems and vehicle detection.
A Roger Grande industrial sliding gate operator was specified for the installation, with battery backup, wireless safety beams, Airkey access control and automatic vehicle exit detection. The system was configured with six Airkey security remotes and wireless vehicle detection for secure entry and automatic exit.
The installation used a Roger Grande operator with battery backup, two XP20 wireless safety beam kits, an Airkey access control system and wireless vehicle detection.
AGM Automation attended site in May and installed the gate structure, automation equipment, access control system and safety devices. The system was then programmed, tested and commissioned prior to handover.
